Driving via the direct inland route:

If you have limited time to spare this is the best route for you. It will take approximately 2.5 hours to travel the 190km from Melbourne to Apollo Bay via the newly opened extension of the Geelong Highway, then the Cape Otway road the C119 or Skenes Creek Road.


Driving via the scenic Great Ocean Road:

If you have a bit more time to spare you will sure enjoy the scenic trip along B100 or 'The Great Ocean Road'. The distance via this route is 185km and the driving time is approx. 2.75 hours. However you will most likely wish to stop and enjoy the many sites along the way.


By Public Transport:

There is a bus service which operates from Geelong to Apollo Bay via the Great Ocean Road. Visitors from Melbourne may travel by train to Geelong and then board a connecting bus on to Apollo Bay. For further information please visit
